Meet Our clergy

our lady reveals heavens beauty and hope on earth

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, symbolizing the Mother of God, who gave birth to Christ, the ruler of all nations (Rev 12:1-2, 5). On her Feast of Assumption, we celebrate her victory over evil and suffering, as highlighted by Venerable Patriarch Elias Howayek, who called her “the mirror of Divine beauty and the custodian of our hope.”

This year is significant for our Maronite Church with the Beatification of Patriarch Estephan El Douaihy and the upcoming canonization of the Massabki brothers, reminding us that heaven is our true home. Mary exemplifies faith and sacrifice, affirming the dignity of life through her Assumption. We bring our petitions to her for peace in Lebanon and an end to conflicts, including in Gaza.

As we approach the Jubilee of Hope in 2025, may we be inspired by Mary’s triumph over evil and work towards God’s will, allowing divine love to nourish our families and communities.
